NAMED FOR A TRUE GEM
Matt's Field honors the legacy of Matt Baumgart, a well-known and loved 1999 graduate of Perham High School who tragically passed away in 2004. What began as a tribute to Matt has grown into a community-focused athletic facility vital to the Perham Baseball program.
Throughout the season, Matt's Field is a second home to Perham Varsity, Junior Varsity, Junior High, Babe Ruth, Junior Legion, and American Legion teams — a place where athletes grow, friendships form, and a community rallies. It has served us well and now it's due for an upgrade.

100% of your donation will be spent directly on this project including four high priority areas that will transform Matt's Field into a tournament-ready facility. See the projected cost breakdown below to understand our vision and the impact your support will make.
In addition to the "big 4" high priority areas (totaling $450,000) we are hoping to raise an additional $200,000 for batting cage improvements, signage, field improvements, and upgraded landscaping to round out this project.
GRANDSTAND

The grandstand will be enlarged to add 200 bleacher seats, outdoor seating areas, and expanded safety netting.
PRESS BOX

A press box will be added to expand multimedia production required by modern tournament organizers

Concessions are a high priority for fans and an important source of ongoing revenue to fund youth programs.

The current facility lacks restrooms, limiting our ability to host tournaments and draw visitors to the facility.

These named giving levels recognize the supporters who anchor the Matt's Field Capital Campaign. Each level is limited to a select group of donors whose generosity will be permanently woven into the fabric of the facility.
Recognition details. The exact form of recognition for each donor class will be determined and finalized as part of the final building plans, which are still being developed. Donors in these classes will be prominently and permanently honored at Matt's Field.
